With 2010 coming to a close, things have not worked out quite the way Lil' Kim imagined. She hoped to start the year out with a new single and an album. But, Atlantic Records put her on ice, while rivals at Universal gave Nicki Minaj a go. Because of this, Lil' Kim spent most of the summer attacking Minaj.
Unable to warrant a response from Nicki, Lil' Kim eventually went about her business. Going against the hottest crew in the game meant no one was going to openly side with Lil' Kim. With her album currently slated for a 2011 release, Lil' Kim has shifted her focus to other projects.
Among these new projects is her new clothing line, 24/7 Star: Goddess Collection. For years, Kim has made statements with her wild outfits. Now, she is making them available to those who aim to dress like her. With this new venture, Lil' Kim said she is inspired by all of the greats who have come along in the fashion industry.
