Everybody has their own style, that is a given. Most people get their style from what they see on television. Over the years, organized crime has gone from being something people feared talking about to an everyday topic. It appears as if everyone is getting a bit of their style from the likes of Al Capone and the fictional Sonny Corleone.
In New Jersey, there is a man named Michael Gambino. Looking at his name, alone, would place fear in the average man. Taking a trip to check out his clothing line, Made Men Apparel, would do even more to freak people out. The term "made men" comes from a mafioso who has murdered a certain number of people for the family.
By looking at the website for Made Men, it appears as if the latest Gambino has taken over the family business and has a front. This could not be farther from the truth. It just so happens there is a young man with the surname Gambino and he had one of two options, use his name to open doors, or join the business. With the second option out of the question, he created Made Men Apparel as a play off his name.
Currently, Made Men Apparel consists of a few t-shirts, but in the future, the line plans to expand into clothing for people of all levels. Gambino hopes everyone feels like a boss in their own right, but he understands if they do not have the budget of a boss. Once the vision is realized, Made Men will have not only t-shirts, but jeans to complete the "Capo" line, more casual clothes for "Consigliere," dress clothes for the "Underboss," and finally suits for the "Boss."
However, right now, the operation is small, so Michael Gambino sticks to selling his t-shirts through his website, but he soon wants to expand. Before the end of the year, Gambino does want the line to begin sellig jeans.
