Towards the end of game one against the Miami Heat, Kevin Garnett was key in leading his Boston Celtics back from a 14-point hole to win the game. Instead of celebrating the end of the game, Garnett ended up getting into a scuffle with Quentin Richardson of the Heat. Late in the game, Paul Pierce received trouble from his shoulder and he limped to the sideline. Richardson walked over and Garnett elbowed him.

Following his unsportsmanlike behavior, both players received technical fouls. However, after the game it was revealed that Kevin Garnett would not be playing in game two. Many people saw this as the big break for the Miami Heat. Their coach, Erik Spoelstra boasted that his team would rather Boston at full-strength, but would take them any way that they came. What was expected to be an easy win was an embarassing loss.

Now, with the series shifting to Miami, Kevin Garnett is back in action and ready to help Boston go up 3-0. It is said that the Miami crowd will be booing Garnett every time that he touches the ball. Rajon Rondo will also be booed every time that he touches the ball. Yesterday, he said that the Miami Heat have no chance against his Celtics and that they will sweep the Heat in a similar fashion to what the Bulls did in 2007. That season was said to be a very tough one for Miami Heat fans.

Regardless of the missed opportunity, tough seasons, fights and suspensions, Kevin Garnett is back and he is ready to play. He has been practicing as if he has played in every game of the series.
