2010 NBA Playoffs Preview
The biggest surprises of the 2009-2010 season were the Boston Celtics, Oklahoma City Thunder, San Antonio Spurs, and Milwaukee Bucks. These teams have been surprising for many different reasons. When the Spurs started the season, many people felt that they, along with the Boston Celtics would be contenders.
The playoffs officially begin tommorrow afternoon with the Chicago Bulls visiting the Cleveland Cavaliers and will feature the battle of Derrick Rose and LeBron James. Last year, Derrick Rose captured the attention of basketball fans across the world. Much like this postseason, coming into the series against the Boston Celtics, no one expected the Bulls to make much noise. Behind Derrick Rose, the Bulls made beautiful music, as opposed to noise. They took the defending NBA champions to seven games before losing game seven in overtime. Meanwhile, LeBron James led his Cleveland Cavaliers to a 66-16 record and a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals before losing to the Orlando Magic in six games.
Other games set to tip off are the Hawks vs. the Bucks in Atlanta, Celtics vs. the Heat in Boston, and the Nuggets vs. the Jazz in Denver.
